Health & Nutrition True Horsemanship looks at all facets in equine care. Proper nutritional requirements are foundational to ensure equines operate in optimal performance. This could include supplements to balance out nutritional deficiencies, promotion of joint health to support the older or high performance horse, or specialty products aimed for a particular purpose. Having researched throughout the years the products in the marketplace we had decided to go with Uckele Health & Nutrition for a variety of reasons. The quality of their products is superior. They manufacture their own products on site and do not contract outside. You know each product was made and packaged adhering to all of their high-quality standards. Here is what we have to say about some of the products we use for our horses: Arthroxigen: This product is incredible and we have several horses that use it daily. We would have to say that if we had to pick only one supplement to give to our horses it would be Arthroxigen. It is head-and-shoulders above the rest of the joint supplements out there. We have an 11-yr old QH gelding that one day pulled up lame; we ran the full battery of tests on him and basically discovered that he has extremely dry joints. We now have him on a maintenance program which includes Arthroxigen, which has been a major contributor to his soundness. We attribute his recovery to a superior supplement program and to the professionals at Uckele that recommended this product. Thanks Kristina! Seroquine: We have a Saddlebred that for all of the years we have owned him (11) he would drop a noticeable amount of weight towards the end of summer. He is a nervous, hyper horse (has mellowed over the years) which in combination with the summer heat led to the weight lose. We put him on Seroquine 2 years ago and he has never looked so great! He is in good weight and has maintained his constant weight now for the last 2 years. He no longer drops weight at the end of summer thanks to Uckele and their Seroquine product. Devil's Claw: We use Devil's Claw for a couple of our older horses that need some assistance with their arthritis. These horses would have some stiff days on and off and since the use of Devils Claw they have been consistently comfortable and sound. This product has done a wonderful job and is just the right amount of support that these horses needed.
